Goodbye 2021 + hellooooo 2022!
2021 was my first year of business without the big C totally getting in the way. I have been so fortunate to be able to grow WHOW throughout these peculiar times + I just wanted to say a huge thank you to every single client, supporter, like, follow or comment. I wouldn't be here without you.
So, now a new year awaits us + all I can say is bring.it.on!
I wanted to start the new year by giving you a little clinic update. . .
Price: You may have noticed a very slight price increase with Microblading. This is the first time I have ever altered my prices since opening, and due to inflation of costs + investing in new skillsets/services being added on top of a Microblading treatment, it was definitely the right decision for the business.
Blading + Shading: Last year I invested in a lot of online training + attended the most incredible masterclass, where I upgraded my microblading skillset as well as learning the skill of manual shading. Now, I have always, and will always be a "natural look" microblading artist, but manual shading allows me to create more density + definition whilst still looking super natural! Not everyone needs shading, but I like to have the choice to add it if necessary. This being the case, I decided not to add an additional charge as I wan't to be able to have free rein + give you your dream brows without price getting in the way.
Heliocare: Last year I introduced Heliocare into the clinic. One of the most important aspects of microblading aftercare, is to ALWAYS protect your brows with SPF, as the sun can fade and change the microblading pigment if this isn't followed. The beauty of Heliocare is how lightweight it is, and there's SPF's for all skin types! I will share more detail on this brand in future blogs and Instagram posts.
It's an exciting time for not only my business, but for the permanent makeup industry as a whole. New techniques, styles + pigments are continuously being updated and improved, and I'm so excited to see what newness I can bring to WHOW in 2022!
Forget the new year, new me brigade... I say it's all about NEW YEAR, NEW BROWS!
